We admired Ann and Nancy Wilson, Deborah Harry, and Stevie Nicks for their famously fierce, yet feminine looks. They showcased glamor-meets-rock gladiatrix style for generations of girls. I think they would all approve of this Black/Hot Pink Zebra Skirt from Baby Threads By Liz over at Etsy (and although they would possibly want their own, sizes are only in 3-6 months to girls’ 6/8; tough luck, ladies).
Why? Because it combines those same girly-meets-rock goddess values with its black and hot pink zebra pattern, and 3 poofy tiers of skirting, finished with a bow. Both sides of being a girl — the fierce and the feminine — are evident in this skirt’s style. An important balance, as pushing too hard one way or the other can backfire on you (as my friend who forbid her daughter to wear pink and created a rosy hue obsessed monster discovered).
The versatility of this skirt continues with its 100 percent cotton fabric which is light in summer and can be paired with leggings in winter; so she can express both sides of herself in all seasons with this little rocking number. Let her be wild and let her be pretty in this Zebra Skirt!
Speaking of which, here’s a not-so-wildly dressed, but very pretty Debby Harry singing with Kermit:
