Animal Crossing is serious business. Players have to weed the lawn, pay rent, fish for food, maintain a level of amicability with their neighbors, and even decorate their homes. It can also eat up all your spare time if you’re not careful, much like popular MMO’s. Despite how addictive, fun and well-made the game is, all-in-all the title is lacking in popularity largely because most deem it too cutesy for this day and age. Their loss.
Let your kids show off their Animal Crossing addiction with these spiffy, handmade earrings. Fashioned to resemble bags of bells found in the game (bells = $$ in Animal Crossing), each set is crafted by the artist and, for an additional two bucks, she can replace the conventional clasps with sterling silver hoops. You just have to write her and she’ll get the job done. For those of you who want to invest in your children and show them just how much you love them, the game itself is a great way to do so. For proof, check this video out, just be sure to have a box of tissues handy. (Disclaimer: if you watch that video it will be very difficult to not buy these earrings for your nerdling.)
