One of the best ways for kids to learn is through play. The best games are ones that are not only fun for the whole family, but also build and reinforce your children’s education by taking the drudgery out of learning. Games that exercise spatial reasoning, critical thinking and language skills are especially useful, and Bananagrams combines all these qualities.
Bananagrams is a game of word building and anagrams for 2-8 players, kind of like Scrabble on crack. It’s a fast-paced and fun family game that will get your kids engaged in building their vocabulary and language skills. Players get a pool of lettered tiles they have to build into their own crossword puzzle, utilizing all of their pieces. You can recombine your letters and start your crossword over as many times as you like. The first player to have used all of his/her pool when the game tiles run out wins.
The game comes with 144 tiles, a banana-shaped carrying pouch, and instruction booklet. A typical game can last as short as five minutes. Small and portable, this is a great game for road trips or vacations.
Get your family excited about language today with this fun, fast-paced game.
