Small babies sleep up to 18 hours a day. Lucky. However, they tend to do so somewhat sporadically, and oftentimes in short 3-4 hour bursts; which means that you, the parental figure who must wake up the next day at the crack of dawn to go off to a world of fun and amusement at work, do not get 18 hours of sleep. You don’t even get eight hours. The task of wooing your little spawnling back to sleep can oftentimes be a difficult one that ultimately results in failure and a 96 ounce cup of coffee from 7-11 the following morning.
A little help from a friend is in order. Science knows this: babies love moving things, and they especially like things that move rhythmically. These neat little space-themed mobiles should fit the bill. They’ll spin all night long, slowly and gently placating your little one into a sense of wellbeing that will hopefully result in unconsciousness. The mobile is safe for all ages and is free of the slew of semi-poisonous acronyms (BpA, PVC, etc.) that sometimes show up in children’s toys. Also, if you look at it closely, you’ll notice that the mobile is not simply space themed. It’s a galactic fight between spaceships and aliens that can launch fireballs. I reckon those are supposed to be comets, but I’m going with fireballs.
