Love 1 Love

If someone asked me who the star of Doctor Who is, I might snarkily ask which Doctor they meant (there have been eleven of them, after all), but really I’d be tempted to take the easy route and simply answer: the TARDIS. Sometimes the biggest star of a show, or at least the most recognizable, isn’t one of the actors but a set piece.
This is, of course, not a dig at the long line of very talented actors who have played the titular role. Honestly, it’s a rare person indeed who can see an image of one of those actors, even with a coat and scarf (or bow tie, or leather jacket, etc.), and immediately think of the show. Conversely, it is rare to find anyone who has a modicum of Sci-Fi pop cultural exposure who doesn’t immediately associate every blue British police box they see with an extra-dimensional time traveling device.
So, while packing your kids’ lunch in this awesome TARDIS (short for Time and Relative Dimension in Space, duh) tin tote the wonderful folks at Entertainment Earth were gracious enough to send us may not demonstrate the most dedicated nerdiness, it is certainly a recognizable statement of your family’s nerdy persuasion. This metal tote may conform to boring old spacial restrictions, but it still sports enough room for a lunch or school supplies, so make sure your kids are well equipped on their next adventure.
