The robots are taking over, and there’s nothing you can do about it, so on three, ready:
“I, for one, welcome our new robotic overlords.”
The proliferation of robots is not a threat to humankind – yet. We’re not so sure about where these Hexbug Nanos are going: it’s a combination of robot and bug, meaning it’s inclined both to become self-aware and scour the planet clean of life… and also to crawl on us while we sleep.
Apparently it’s not actually true that we accidentally eat eight spiders every year – the creepy little things are instinctively smart enough to not crawl between the crushing jaws of much larger organisms. But think about this: robots are programmed by humans; what if the human that programs the tiny bug robot honestly believes that bugs do crawl into people’s mouths while they sleep, and then programs the robot to do exactly that?
We’re done for.
That’s why it’s essential that your geeky kid put a tight lid on this threat by keeping his or her hexbug confined to this Hexbug Nano Habitat Set. Your child can build a perfect containment lair to use for study and analysis of these synthetic life forms. Multiple playsets can be combined to create even larger habitats, and the high walls ensure that not one of these four little critters can escape.
