Tagsgrown up kids, lord of the rings, trading card game
A childhood rite of passage consists of having a collection of some kind. Some collect baseball cards, some collect Pogs. But the nerdy kids? We collected trading cards with function. Even at a young age, gamers make their presence known and show their desire to escape to other lands by collecting Magic Cards or some other form of entertainment.
The Lord of the Rings trading card game is a relatively new addition to the world of card-based games, but nonetheless has already garnered a reputation for producing in-depth strategy with beautiful artwork. Further, it feeds your child’s inner nerd and teaches them a greater understanding of the history of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth. The core edition featured here will get your kids off to a good start and provides them with all the necessaries to start playing, including the all-important instructions. It may take a few games before your tots fully understand how it works, but once they grasp the fundamentals, they’ll quickly develop a rabid fascination and growing need to, much like Pokemon, collect ‘em all. That said, be advised if you teach your children how to play, there’s a good chance you’ll be spending a fair bit of change buying expansion packs for them.
