Mana Pots for the Real World

Sometimes we all feel a little drained, especially this time of year. The sky is grey, it’s cold, and life is beating us down. How many more soccer practices and math homework worksheets until summer? Too many. That’s how many.

What would a pixelated hero do in a situation like this? He’d find an inn, right? Well, we don’t have any of those around here. In a pinch, he’d most certainly be chugging all of his mana or health pots to stay on top of things.

While we don’t have the luxury of being able to be constantly managing the statuses of our red and blue bars, it helps just a little bit to be able to pretend. Isn’t the second best thing to actually playing the game bringing a little of it into the real world?

Let’s start with a little liquid comfort. Instead of cuddling a boring ol’ teddy bear, hand your baby a health and mana pot to snuggle with. The one they choose may give you a little insight into who your level one may grow up to become.

If Skyrim is your fam’s jam, you’re going to need the additional third element of Magicka. This troika of pendants can make sure each person has enough of each pot at any given moment, depending on the day’s activities.

This onesie might help you explain to everyone how magical your baby is (or how magical you need to be to change all those diapers).

If you’re handy with a soldering iron and some wire strippers, you can make your very own USB-powered glowy mana pot. Nightlights are just way too IRL.
