Remember when you first started to appreciate art? When you realized those paintings were more than just a bit of paint slapped onto a canvas? Ok, so some art is just gobs of paint slapped onto a canvas, but here we’re talking about the masters. You know. da Vinci, Monet, Picasso, van Gogh. Ah yes, van Gogh; the 19th century’s Charlie Sheen—without half the problems.
This melancholic, post-impressionist painter had crazy issues, but with crazy issues came some crazy good art, right? Now your kid (aged 5 and up) can create art that’s (almost) on par with the masters with Master Kitz’s The Starry Night set. This kit comes with everything your little artsy nerd needs to learn about the Dutch master, as well as everything to create their own reproduction of Starry Night.
In the reusable art tool box, the kids will get acrylic paints, oil pastels, a van Gogh roller (to replicate his strokes), a Starry Night stencil, paint roller, art paper, sticker sheet, learning materials (almost finished!) and an easy-to-follow step-by-step instruction guide. Since we know you’ve always wanted to paint your own reproduction of van Gogh’s masterpiece, you might want to pick up a kit just for yourself. Feel free to dedicate the artwork to us.
