In today’s ever growing demand for butterfly and tribal tattoos, getting ink has become a commonly practiced past-time that everyone who isn’t a subcultural lurker seems to be doing. This is a classic example of when the underground goes mainstream: unique qualities once held are lost and distinctions between passion and fashion become ill-defined. This is also something that should never, ever take place. Like heaven and hell, these two worlds exist for one reason: to keep out the people who threaten to take something they don’t understand and make it their own.
Needless to say, I’m still debating on whether or not I should get more ink. Yeah, many people have tattoos and it tends to bother me lots, but this tattoo I want in particular (inspired by Morrissey) is one that I have to get. It’s a take on ‘The pen is mightier than the sword’, and it will make my “Music Is Mightier Than The Sword” tattoo a little less lonley.
Ok, ok, so while I don’t really have a “Music Is Mightier Than The Sword” tattoo, if I did, I’d be proud. As proud as your little sleeping beauty will be the moment they set their eyes on their brand new “Music Is Mightier Than The Sword” mini art print from Society6.
Designed with 100% ultra smooth cotton and lignin-free archival paper, the quality of your child’s mini art print is just about equal to the way they feel about music. And with numerous options to choose from, your kids can attach this kiddie-pleasing picture on just about anything: pillows, cell phones, laptops, or in a frame and hung on the wall. No matter what they do, the art print’s musical message will always remain with them–perhaps ending up as a tattoo on their body someday. Which is way better than a butterfly.
