When people think of the most important item Link has on his adventures, many assume it’s the Master Sword. This is a solid assumption; the sword is iconic, powerful, and a main component of the series. However, you can get to Gannon’s room in The Legend of Zelda without ever picking up the sword, but you can’t do that with the shield. As far as I’m concerned, that makes the shield the best thing in Link’s… well, umm… whatever he puts all his stuff in.
Beautifully adorned with the crest of Hyrule, and the symbol of the Triforce, this magnificent shield has protected Link across many of his vast adventures. It has seen the Hero of Time brave deep dungeons, fierce foes, and mighty oceans. Now, it can travel with your kids on their backpack or bag, which is just as exciting and adventurous, I promise!
Please advise your children to exercise caution when thinking of using this patch as a defensive item. It’s no mirror shield, so it won’t be reflecting anything back, unfortunately. Instead, I’d suggest having your kids use it as more of a decorative ornament than a practical means of protecting themselves while fighting against whatever imaginary foes they can dream up. Moblins don’t really exist, as much as I’d like them to.
