A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, someone came up with Wookiee Pies and had the foresight to write down the recipe for future bipeds that consume organic matter to survive. The pies and other delectable recipes can be found in the second Star Wars Cookbook. Sixty-four pages of deliciousness, packed mostly with recipes for sweets, can be found within. Three cookie cutters in the shape of Yoda, Darth Vader, and R2-D2 complete the set and provide inspiration for decorating your wares.
You won’t need to be an intelligent and super-agile Jedi to figure out what to do. The text is written well and is easy to follow, so you and your padawan can create some tasty themed snacks for your next Star Wars marathon weekend. Or, use the cookie cutters for take-home treats from your Star Wars-themed birthday party! Having a sleepover? Use the cutters as molds for pancakes! In pancake form, Yoda you can eat. (That’s funnier if you read it out loud; trust me.)
Some of the recipes you will find are: Princess Leia Danish Dos, Yoda Soda, Jawa Jigglers, and Chocolate Chewies. And, of course, Wookiee Pies. I can’t wait to make some Wookie Pies!
