Let’s get over this notion that moon boots were an 80s thing. They’re not an 80s thing – they’re a timeless awesome thing!
Depending on how old you are, you may or may not remember being glued to your 12” black and white Magnavox watching Neil Armstrong (may he rest in peace) kick up dust on the moon. We’re guessing probably not – but have you checked in with our space program lately? We just put a one-ton roving camera robot on mars. Yes, that Mars – maybe you’ve heard of it?
This is a great time to be excited about space travel – don’t listen to all the naysayers and penny-pinchers who would cut funding for space exploration: we’re gearing up to go farther and faster than ever before. Between NASA and private research, the sky is no longer the limit. We’ve smashed the sky, and soon we’ll touch the stars.
Now: want your kids to be a part of that? Get them eating, thinking, and dreaming space. Buy them astronaut ice cream, teach them history, and let them stomp slow-motion through snow drifts saying “That’s…one small step for man…one giant leap for mankind” just like you used to – you know, back in the 80s.
